HoneyTea has achieved 100 followers, and although this is not exactly “relevant” on the blogosphere or on the internet, for someone new to blogging and predominantly introvert, acknowledging that 100 people are curious to know what I will say next is, to say the least, interesting.

I don’t usually write in the first person, as I want my ideas to circulate free from any stereotypes. Knowing that something was written by a female, 29 years old, Brazilian lawyer, would influence the way you perceive each piece – so it is a try to interfere the less possible. It is also a great way to avoid personal criticism (for those who fear it, of course).

The followers idea makes me wonder why I write – is it for spreading ideas I value or to receive approval and acceptance? I will try not to bother about that and focus on what I love about blogging: the exchange of ideas. Thank you for reading, my efforts will go to keep it interesting.

Please remember that English is not my first language, so I apologize for any mistakes or weird word arrangements. Help me improve by sending an email to contacthoneytea at gmail dot com or commenting if you find anything wrong or bad-sounding!
