As Socrates allegedly said, “the unexamined life is not worth living”.
Back of a nude by William Merritt Chase, 1888
Examining your life makes you think on ways to improve it and, since time and other resources are scarce, makes you figure out which areas matter most. Working on what really matters makes huge difference if you take structured and consistent actions, and also if you remember to relax. It is always good to exercise resilience.
Examples of areas that can be subject of improvement are health, intellect, relationships and aging. But this is always changing and it is supposed to, as your life shifts from phase to phase.
Th analysis of the area should be the less biased possible, and should either find good reasons for the things to stay as they are, and be grateful, or identify what could be better and reflect on how to act on it with a consistent approach. So, for example, if you think you should be more patient in your relationships, and you believe patience is something to exercise as a whole, gardening can be a good way of exercising patience. You might also not having chosen gardening consciously, but later realize that, besides pleasing, makes you a better person.
Honey Tea posts are the results of such analysis, as well as ideas for actions either tried and approved or idealized.

HoneyTea, you are so philosophical. You might like a new magazine my sister reviewed on my blog called Womankind. The magazine is right up your alley. You write well in English, by the way. I love the title of this particular post, too.
